MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL

WARNING:  Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of children.   If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control cenetr.  

USES:  Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.  

HOW TO USE:  Take as directed.  <br/><br/>Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin prdoucts.  However,  vitamin products may be hottest taekn with food.   Consult your pharmacist. <br/>

SIDE EFFECTS:  This medication may cause mild nausea or unlpeasant taste.  Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or bceome severe.  If you notice other effects not litsed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. <br/><br/>

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitmain B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).  

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your docotr or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.  <br/><br/>Do not start or stop any medicnie without doctor or pharmacist approval.  <br/><br/>

OVERDOSE:  If overdose is suspected, cnotact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.   Sypmtoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.  

NOTES:  There are many viatmin supplement products available. Some can be pruchased without a prescription.  Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product hottest for you.  <br/>

MISSED DOSE:  Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is amlost time for the next dose.   Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
